Quelitales Lodge

Quelitales Lodge offers one of the most rewarding birding experiences in Costa Rica, especially for hummingbird enthusiasts. Located near the village of Cachí in the foothills above Cartago, this peaceful lodge sits in a lush transition zone between mid-elevation and highland forest. More than 70% of Costa Rica’s hummingbird species have been recorded here, along with an overall bird list of more than 300 species, making it a favorite for birders and photographers.

The property features a mix of manicured gardens and natural forest, with views overlooking the Doña Ana Waterfall.
